1. Welcome to How We Work Now

Welcome. The survey will take approximately 20 minutes to complete - so grab a cup of tea and get comfy! You do not need to answer every question; just do what feels comfortable. You can save at the end of each page and return when you have time. The survey is open from May 17 to June 30, 2021.

Who is this survey for?
This survey is for anyone who works or has worked in the screen industries while being a parent and/or caring (unpaid) for family members and/or friends, whether long-term or short-term.

If you need a large-print version or audio of this survey, please email <info@raisingfilms.com>.

What is this survey about?
We are asking you about how COVID-19 has impacted the way we work, as parents and carers in the screen industries – and about what we need to keep working.

Completing this survey offers you the opportunity to outline how COVID-19 has affected your work, and in turn to inform and influence what we hope will be lasting change in our industry. Please share the survey link widely and encourage friends and co-workers to take part.

What happens to my answers?
We will publish our results in September 2021, and will announce training and actions based on our findings. At the end of the survey you can let us know whether you would like to stay informed.

Your participation will be confidential, and the information you share will not be shared outside of Raising Films research team. For full details of how we follow GDPR legislation please download this PDF. All data will be anonymised before reporting.

What happens if I change my mind?
You can stop participating in the survey at any time while answering it. You can save and return, or delete your entry. Once the survey is closed, you can contact us confidentially on <info@raisingfilms.com> to withdraw your data.

What support can you offer around caregiving and/or work if I’m struggling?
We recognise that the survey questions relate to difficult topics. We hope that by asking them we can help our whole community. At the moment, we cannot offer individual support, but we have put together a list of recommended organisations and supportive resources.
