Homeshare UK is conducting research with Woking Borough Council to better understand people's attitudes to Homeshare in Woking.

Homeshare is an intergenerational housing option in which older people (Householders) provide an affordable home to a younger person in exchange for support with everyday tasks such as shopping, cooking and cleaning, along with companionship.

The benefit for the potential Homesharer is that they can save on accommodation costs as well as living in a safe and sociable home. Anyone can be a homesharer whether you are young or older as long as you are willing to give around 10 hours a week support to the person you are living with.
