Finding out about Hockey's International Heritage

Over the past five years, The Hockey Museum has established itself as the lead organisation to support hockey heritage in the UK. The museum is now working with the FIH to expand this work worldwide. The aim is to draw together information and knowledge about existing collections, memorabilia, and the history of hockey; provide better support for those managing collections; learn more from those with a knowledge of hockey history; and inform research into a definitive history of hockey.

This is not a programme to collect objects, but to find out about where objects are held, learn about stories and research about hockey heritage, and provide a greater support and understanding for hockey heritage in future.

As a result, The Hockey Museum is currently undertaking a research programme to create a strategy for the future. This survey is a key part of the research. We are particularly interested in hearing more about collections or those with knowledge of hockey history from outside of the British Isles. However, if you are UK based and have not had contact previously with the Hockey Museum, we would like to hear from you too.

If you would like to be kept up-to-date with the development of this work, please do add your contact details to the section later in the survey and we will add you to our mailing list.

The survey should take no more that 15 minutes to complete and is vital to our research.

Your answers are paramount to our understanding of worldwide hockey heritage, and we are extremely grateful for your time in completing the survey, many thanks in advance!
