Social Enterprise UK recognise that over recent years London’s property market has become pretty turbulent for many social enterprises, particularly for those businesses who require work or maker-space, and flexibility whether scaling up or down.
SEUK think there may be benefit, and that there is a potential appetite, among our members to be co-located within a social enterprise hub, alongside others who share values of enterprise and collaboration. We envisage a building that could support and host all manner of businesses including catering, production, design and manufacturing. This would create a vibrant environment and dynamic culture that will encourage new partnerships, stimulate idea creation, nurture new thinking, generate commercial collaboration and support growth.
The Centre will also provide incubation opportunities to early stage start-ups as well as an accelerated growth base for more established social enterprises.
