Hammersmith & Fulham Survivors Survey

Survivor: in this document, this means women and girls who have faced violence and abuse.
Women and Girls Network: We are a free service run by women, for women in London. Our service is for women who have been affected by all forms of violence and abuse.
Consult or Consultation: this is when people who might be affected by a change or decision are asked for information about how it will affect them.
This is an independent consultation. This means we are an outside group who are running the consultation for Hammersmith and Fulham Council.
We would love to hear from survivors of Violence Against Women and Girls including men and boys who have experienced these types of abuse.
This survey is part of a wider consultation. This wider consultation is working to build up a community of survivors who have Lived experience.
Lived Experience: this means when a person knows a lot about an issue because they have faced it themselves. They know about what support is needed because they have accessed or tried to access this support themselves.
This community of survivors will lead on policies around Violence Against Women and Girls.
This survey will ask for some information and details about your experiences.
We will ask you about your experiences accessing or trying to access support. This means support for the violence and abuse you have faced.
We will ask you about any barriers or gaps you have faced when trying to take part in activities.
You can stay anonymous when you fill in this survey if you want to.
Only share with us what you feel comfortable sharing.
The information you give in the survey will be kept confidential. We will keep your information in a way that meets the General Data Protection Regulations.

General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR: this is a law around keeping personal information safe. We will not use your information for any other reason outside of this consultation.
