Hornsea Three Community Fund Consultation Survey

Welcome to the Hornsea Three Community Fund survey.

There are 16 questions which should take you no more than 15 minutes to complete. Questions starting with an * are mandatory and need to be completed before you can proceed to the next page.

Surveys from young people aged under 18 must be submitted by someone aged 18 or over on their behalf.

Please only complete the survey once. You are welcome to complete the questionnaire again if you represent more than one group, but you may need to do this from a different device.

* 4. The East Coast Community Fund supports the following types of project themes. Do you agree that the Hornsea Three Community Fund should continue to support these project themes?
  • Community buildings and facilities. For example: capital improvement works to village halls, community centres, museums, heritage centres and community cafes.
  • Community activities and services. For example: projects addressing health and wellbeing, social isolation, community cohesion, access to amenities, young and old people’s projects, and projects providing support for local clubs and groups.
  • Environmental and public open space projects. For example: projects involving parks, nature reserves, community growing schemes, and habitat/species conservation.
  • Sports, recreation and play. For example: playgrounds, skate parks, indoor climbing walls, sports equipment and sports field drainage projects.
  • Educational Projects Relating to STEM. (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths)

* 6. The East Coast Community Fund supports the following types of organisations. Do you agree that the Hornsea Three Community Fund should continue to support these types of organisations?
  • Voluntary and community groups (not for profit), and local and national charities
  • Parish and Town Councils
  • Local Authorities (if they working with community organisations on community-led projects)
  • Social Enterprises and Community Interest Companies operating on a non-profit-distributing basis. These are defined by Social Enterprise UK as ‘businesses that trade to tackle social problems, improve communities, people’s life chances, or the environment. They make their money from selling goods and services in the open market, but they reinvest their profits back into the business or the local community’. Such organisations must have a minimum of three Directors.
  • For STEM projects, eligible groups include educational establishments, organisations or consultancies which can deliver STEM education or activities.
