FAQs
Why Bluebell Close?
This is a prime location in the North Ward with a large area of land
Who owns this area?
The land is owned by Herefordshire Council - If the idea for a new play area is
supported, Ross-on-Wye Town Council (RTC) may be able to lease it or transfer
the land to Town Council ownership.
How much will it cost?
All the new play equipment at the Ropewalk, which includes the play area,
swings and a climbing frame cost approximately £70,000- small children's play
area, swings and climbing frame. The Bluebell play park would be funded by RTC
and by any grants we can obtain.
How long will it take?
Ideally we would like to get this project started in the next 2 years but it will
depend on permission from Herefordshire Council, Town Council funding,
availability of grants, and most importantly, support from the community.
How can I help?
Please complete this questionnaire- the more positive feedback we get, the
faster we will be able to build the play area. Return your completed form to the
Town Council office, The Corn Exchange, High Street, Ross-on-Wye, HR9 5HL
or email it to admin@rosstc-herefordshire.gov.uk
