The Hampshire Safeguarding Children Board is responsible for:

• Coordinating what different organisations in Hampshire do to safeguard and promote the welfare of children

• Ensuring that the work of these organisations to safeguard children is effective
The work of the Board includes publishing multi-agency safeguarding policies and procedures, providing training and resources for professionals working with children, raising awareness of safeguarding issues, auditing and quality assuring the work of member agencies, reviewing serious cases and child deaths.
