Sector Support NEL is hosting an afternoon event at Centre 4 on Thursday 21st October, from 1pm till 4.15pm, to explore the Integrated Care agenda and what it means for VCSE organisations and communities in North East Lincolnshire. There will also be a networking lunch between 12:15pm and 1:00pm.

You may be aware of changes that are happening nationally to bring health and social care commissioners and providers, including the community sector, together into integrated care systems https://www.england.nhs.uk/integratedcare/what-is-integrated-care/

North East Lincolnshire is part of the Humber, Coast and Vale integrated care system, along with North Lincolnshire, East Riding, Hull, York and North Yorkshire.

This event will enable VCSE organisations to hear from the people involved in developing the Humber, Coast and Vale system, and the local Integrated Care Partnership which will work at a place-based level in North East Lincolnshire. Speakers include:

Emma Latimer, HCV ICS Partnership Director Humber

Jason Stamp, Chair of the HCV VCSE Leadership Group

Rob Walsh, Chief Executive of NELC and NELCCG

Dr Peter Melton, Clinical Chief Officer

There will also be table-based discussions to explore the opportunities for VCSE organisations to engage in integrated care, and an opportunity to ask questions and feed back on how you would like to be kept up to date.

The event will be held face-to-face at Centre 4, with refreshments at registration and a coffee/cake break. We will ensure that tables are well-spaced with smaller numbers of people at each table; places are therefore limited so please register as soon as possible.

It is our intention to record the event/speakers so that it can be re-run at a later date as an online session. We’d love to see you at Centre 4 but if you are unable to attend, please use the booking form to let us know if you’d like to be sent an invitation to the later online session (date TBC).
