The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation (the Foundation) provides a comprehensive training programme for Award teams from licensed Independent Award Centres (IACs), and for external activity providers who work with IACs. The training is a blended learning programme with online and instructor-led components. 

The training is delivered in two phases; Level 1 (online) and Level 2 (online and instructor-led). Level 1 must be completed before enrolling for Level 2. The core Level 1 and Level 2 programme equips successful delegates with the knowledge and skill to act as:
  • Award Leader
  • Adventurous Journey Supervisor
  • Adventurous Journey Assessor

Virtual delivery
Workshops are delivered over 3 x 3 hour sessions via Zoom. 100% attendance across all 3 sessions is necessary to successfully complete Level 2. Before you submit your booking, please ensure that you are able to attend all 3 sessions of your chosen workshop. Session details can be found on our website or below. You will receive a follow up email with further details about your booking within 5 days of submitting this form. 
Spaces on each workshop are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Early booking is therefore recommended to avoid disappointment.

Registration 
Registration is not confirmed until the following requirements have been met:
  • You have completed the required Level 1 online courses (available free of charge under the ‘Courses’ section of the Award Community). Please ensure that you (and delegates you are booking for) have completed Level 1 before submitting your booking.
  • Your course fee is settled. You will be sent a payment link via email within 5 days of submitting this booking.
  • If you have an existing booking on a cancelled face-to-face workshop, you will be able to advise us during your booking and we will transfer the payment.
  • Please note that if your IAC has outstanding invoices on account, your registration will not be processed until these are cleared.
Workshop fee
The fee for virtual Level 2 workshops is 200 GBP / 256 USD / 228 EUR

In light of the impact of COVID-19 on many IACs and our desire to ensure we can help to support growth in the Award in all settings, we are offering a 15% discount applicable on all virtual Level 2 Workshops booked by 31 December 2020.

Cancellation
Cancellations with a full refund may be made up to 7 days before the course. Within 7 days of the first session, the fee will be non-refundable. Substitutions or transfers of registrations to another course may be made up to 7 days before the first session.
