Hampshire Chamber and partner business networks are in the process of developing the Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) to help grow the local economy and boost opportunities for future generations.

The aim of the LSIP is to put employers at the heart of the skills agenda, and to build stronger and more dynamic partnerships between employers and further education providers, enabling provisions to then be put in place to respond to the skills needs of employers and sectors locally.

Our objective is to bring together local businesses, colleges, and training providers, plus a broad range of other stakeholders, to identify the skills needed to enable economic growth in our communities. This is a once in a generation opportunity for employers to help shape how their current and future workforce can access the right training to thrive in the modern workplace.

As part of this, we are seeking inputs from businesses across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight to share views on their key needs and priorities for their business and sectors in which they operate.

This survey is open to all businesses in Hampshire and the IOW and we would greatly appreciate it if you could support the LSIP process by completing the online survey. Your answers will be used to inform our analysis of skills demand and supply, and the name of your business and/or your responses will never be disclosed.
