The Government has allocated £1,200,000 to be spent in Dudley by the end of 2022 on activities and refreshments for income eligible, free school meals pupils for the following periods – 16 hours per week for the following weeks, 1 week at Easter, 4 weeks in the summer and 1 week at Christmas.

In Dudley borough we have over 11,000 Free School Meal pupils, the government expect to reach a minimum of 40% of these pupils (4,400). Activities must be for school age pupils (Reception to Year 11)

We are keen to work in partnership with our local schools, businesses and the community and voluntary sector to offer a varied and wide range of activities. We are seeking expressions of interest from providers who would like to run a holiday clubs or activities over the 2022 school holidays.

In Dudley we are using an online application for all organisations to share their planned activity, funding needs to deliver the programme, and to identify any support they made need from the team.

We need your applications back no later than Monday 7 February 2022 detailing the activities that you wish to deliver in 2022. Organisations and businesses can apply just to deliver the enrichment element of the programme, or the food element.

Dates for delivery are as follows

Easter Holiday , Schools break up 8th April, Delivery 11th – 22nd April

Summer, Schools break up Break up 21st - Delivery 25th July to 2nd September

Christmas, schools break up 16th – Delivery 19th – 30th December

We are accepting applications for Easter, Summer, and Christmas on this form for those who have planned for the year. additional rounds of funding applications will follow early summer an autumn for those who wish to apply in preparation for a holiday at a time.

Some providers chose to deliver one activity programme over several days such as a school club or a multi sport 4x4x4 this will be a single activity. Other providers decide to deliver a range of activities that differ in nature such as cookie box deliveries some weeks and in house dance another each of these will constitute as separate activity irrelevant of the number of sessions or days.

Applications close at 9am on Monday the 7th of February. The HAF panel convene on Wednesday 9th February. Applicants will be advised of the success of their application by the end of business on Friday the 11th of February. Payments will be made in advance of Easter activity; the team are aiming for payments to reach the successful Easter applicatcants by Thursday 10th March for delivery to begin week commencing 11th April 2022.

Provider Applications for Summer will re-open on Friday 30th April and will close on Monday the 9thMay, Applications for Christmas activity will open on Monday 3rd and close Monday 17th October the format for application will be the same at this digital form.
