Welcome to our survey

From Monday 22nd May 2017 Ofsted and the Care Quality Commission (CQC) will carry out a joint inspection of Telford and Wrekin local area covering Education, Social Care and Health services for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (aged 0-25yrs):

The areas the teams will focus on are:
- Effectiveness of the local area in identifying children and young people;
- Effectiveness of local area in assessing and meeting the needs of children and young people;
- Effectiveness of local area in improving outcomes and chances of participating fully in society improve;

Alongside this they will review how well engagement with parent carers works, assessment processes and your voice is heard in developing services.

We are using this survey to gather views of parent carers in readiness for the inspection next week which will be led by Her Majesty’s Inspector.

While we understand that many parents and carers may have views on their experience that extend before the implementation of the reforms in September 2014, it is important that the views gathered are from this date as this is the focus of the inspection.

Please complete this survey by Friday 19th May 2017.
