The Children's Food Trust is the national charity on a mission to get every child eating well at home, in childcare, at school and beyond. We want to give children in Scotland more chances to learn to cook and would love to hear your views on the importance of cooking skills in the challenge of creating a healthier Scotland.

Just under one in three children in Scotland are overweight or obese. Children in Scotland aren’t eating enough fruit and veg and the poorest children in Scotland are most likely to be overweight or obese. NHS Health Scotland states that “appropriate skills and knowledge relating to nutrition and the preparation of meals” are among the factors contributing to food poverty.
