The Housing LIN is uniquely placed to measure organisations' appetite for and interest in housing with care. We know that there is a significant shortfall of provision, recently estimated at 30,000 units per annum, against latent demand. How is our sector responding?
In partnership with EAC, this comprehensive survey focuses primarily on the operator market for housing with care (also known as extra care housing or assisted living) and your organisation's intentions for growth in scheme development and/or in the delivery of care and support services over the next 5 years. However, if you are a planner or commissioner of housing with care, your answers will also enable us to get a broader perspective on the state of the market.
This survey will remain open until 31st December 2019. The information will enrich EAC’s databank of housing for older people. It will also help shape plans for our 2020 annual conference in Manchester where we will report the findings in a ‘state of the nation’ report.
