Welcome to the registration page for The Great NUH Walk Off. For this event NUH is dividing into 3 big teams; Team QMC, Team City and Team Ropewalk House. The winning team will be the one which has the highest average number of steps per person recorded for the whole of the month. Register on this form which team you would like to join. If you are based on two campuses then pick the campus you spend the majority of your working time based at.

The Walk Off runs through the whole of May, beginning on Monday 1 May and ending on Wednesday 31 May 2016. To take part in the event you will need a pedometer (step counter). We have a limited supply available for £3 each, if you would like one please indicate below. These will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Alternatively you may use your own pedometer.
All steps count throughout the month both in and out of work including walking, running, skipping and fitness classes (try our NUH active classes to give you an extra boost). We'll also be launching a Wednesday Walk with the HWB team to give staff to go for a short group walk during the day.
Everybody registering to take part will be entered into a prize draw to win a bag of health and wellbeing goodies. All those who submit scores to the winning team will get a certificate.

We will send out full details via email of pedometer collection points and instructions on how to submit your weekly results after this date. Please do not collect pedometers until you have received an email.
