Your chance to have a say...

Over the past couple of years, the Ridge has overseen the transformation of the wilderness of the abandoned Backlands Garden, and the eyesore of Garden Lane into a beautiful, productive and welcoming training garden, and an attractive well-kempt thoroughfare respectively. It has taken time and much effort from staff, volunteers and trainees, with support from a range of small, medium and larger funders, to progress to the point that have reached the point of being able to consider extending this reclamation/repurposing work for the benefit of the Dunbar community into the Black Bull Close.  You can have a read of our options appraisal/feasibility report here. As neighbours to all of this, we would very much like to hear a bit about your views of works to date and of our plans. We are really keen to know what we are getting right for our neighbours, and also what we need to do better. We want to address any concerns and to continue the dialogue with you all which we started way back at the beginning of this project. Many of you are already regular visitors to the Garden, and we have had lots of really welcome feedback and interesting conversations there. This is our chance to ensure everyone gets to have their say. If you have a neighbour who does not have access to/is not comfortable with computers, please let us know and we can arrange a paper version of the survey to be delivered.
