TSSA is conducting a survey to determine what managers are prepared to do to assist in achieving fairness and parity for managers. 96% of managers who completed our pay claim survey aren't prepared to accept anything less than the pay offer given to other grades. In addition, 90% were prepared to be balloted for some form of industrial action if they get anything less.
TSSA will always champion the issues of our members in management grades regardless of having collective bargaining machinery in place however we want to regain those formal structures to ensure that we don’t need to resort to industrial action to achieve our members’ desires. But to do that we need your help.
In order to be in the strongest position we need a majority of GWR managers to complete this survey. Please indicate that you want TSSA to bargain on behalf of managers, this will assist us in determining if there is enough support for us to campaign and win on this issue. We realise you receive a lot of surveys but this could be one of the most important ones that you are asked to complete.
This won’t be the end of the process but will assist us to gauge the level of work needed to achieve our aims please help us by sharing the circular and this survey with your management colleagues regardless of whether they are TSSA members or not.
