About the Expo

The GUBA Greenwich Trade Expo 2018 is an event aimed at developing, promoting, and connecting small medium sized businesses with African-inspired products who also seek to establish themselves in the British mainstream market.

Following on from the success of our events in 2014 and 2016, this year’s Expo promises to be great. The 3-day event to be held in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, London from 15th – 17th June 2018 will start with a Seminar connecting key business personnel, industry leaders, company buyers, investors and government officials through key note messages, panel discussions and interactive workshops with various business advisors on hand to support your individual needs.  Then there will be a 2 day African market in General Gordon Square, at the heart of Woolwich where exhibitors will be able to showcase their products and sell to the general public all in a vibrant busy setting.

15th June 2018 – Seminar

16th & 17th June 2018 – Outdoor African Market

African-inspired products are quickly gaining prominence in the UK and in global markets and have received much media and celebrity attention from the likes of Michelle Obama, Beyonce Knowles, and Naomi Campbell. Such products include clothing and jewelry, food, furniture and cosmetics. The GUBA Greenwich Trade Expo 2018 will provide a platform for these products to be showcased, creating an opportunity for exposure and business development for SMBs, as well as investment prospects for attendees.

In addition, the GUBA Greenwich Trade Expo 2018 will provide SMBs access to industry experts who will share their expertise on how to meet industry-set benchmarks and break into the British mainstream market using their services.
