Following a year that has turned our sector upside down,  the purpose of this survey is to inform research, and to strengthen our case to government as we look to support the UK’s creative industries during the pandemic and beyond.

We know  that surveys like this are time consuming and you may have completed many this year,  but  they are the quickest way to ensure that  your voice is heard.  Surveys like these have led to enormous change and positive movement this year, including the  Self-Employment Income Support Scheme and the  Culture Recovery Fund of £1.57bn, and there is still more to do.

We have ensured that the survey is as inclusive as possible, which means it will take around 15 minutes to complete.

Throughout the survey, we will ask for some detailed information on your experience of the pandemic, to understand how the sector adapts to different restrictions, but we understand that every organisation and individual is different. Please don’t feel pressured to share any information you don’t feel comfortable sharing. Our privacy policy on what we will do with information from the survey can be found here. To help complete the survey quickly, it will be helpful for you to have the following details close to hand:
  • Approximate financial info since the start of the pandemic
  • Approximate employee/freelancer information
  • Information on any accessed government schemes
  • Any information on exports

Thank you for taking the time to make a real difference.
