Why your views about the Seaboard area are important<

The place in which we spend our time has an important impact on our lives and our wellbeing. Improving the quality of our place and the opportunities it provides can help to tackle inequalities.

Understanding the strengths and weaknesses of a place help all of us to make good decisions and target resources to where they are most needed.  Listening to local people, and working closely with them, is more likely to deliver better local outcomes.

The Easter Ross Community Partnership has recently been formed and brings together local representatives from:
- Highland Council
- Highlands and Islands Enterprise
- High Life Highland
- NHS Highland
- Police Scotland
- Ross-shire Voluntary Action, and
- Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.

The Community Partnership wants to work with all members of the Seaboard community to create a Locality Plan which will identify ways to improve access to services and increase the opportunities available to residents.  This will also help develop and promote the area as a successful place.
