Cleaners Community of Practice

The Soapbox Collaborative ( are in the process of establishing a Community of Practice focusing on health facility cleaners and cleaning in low and middle income countries.

What is a Community of Practice? A group of people who share a common concern, set of problems, or interest in a topic and who come together to fulfil both individual and group goals.

The aims of the Cleaners Community of Practice are to:

-  Facilitate exchange of information, knowledge and resources, and encourage joint learning and knowledge production
-  Improve collaboration, coordination and cooperation of stakeholders working in the area
- Impact at the level of policy, programmes and projects
