Maternity policies: a different approach

These are some facts, we think are very important:
Fertility rates are dropping everywhere, even in countries with historically outstanding maternity policies such as Iceland and France.
Women have a high drop out rate from the labour force a few years after having children.
Many women feel like they are trying to square an impossible puzzle: children, family, work, ambition and leisure.
The early years of children are critical in defining their emotional development and this includes abilities such as stamina, resilience and risk appetite.
In the attachment you can find some solutions, we think will make a genuine difference to mothers, children, society at large and, yes, GDP.
