Question Title

* 3. How long have you been working in your sector?

Question Title

* 4. In your opinion, what are the priority research questions on the benefits and impacts of European policy on developing countries in order to inform policy making processes? [see below for examples]

Questions should:
  • address important gaps in knowledge;
  • be answerable through a realistic research project within a reasonable time horizon with reasonable resources (for example, by a team of 5 people in 3 years);
  • have an answer that does not depend on value judgments and that can be answered through research;
  • not be answerable by “it all depends,” “yes” or “no”;
  • have identifiable outcomes that can be fed into the policy making process.
Need help expressing your questions in plain language?
Here are three examples:
  • What actions are required to recreate the full range of coastal landscapes, habitats and species distributions to compensate for their loss, for example as a result of sea-level rise?
  • What will be the ecological impacts of changing agricultural patterns in response to climate change?
  • How does climate change interact with other ecological pressures (e.g. invasive species and habitat fragmentation) to create synergistic effects?
