Thank you for taking the time to fill in this survey. The survey is being run by the Global Lung Cancer Coalition, an alliance of patient organisations from across the world.

This is the third survey we have conducted to understand patients’ experiences after being diagnosed with lung cancer. We would like to know if COVID-19 is still impacting the care you receive, and we would also like to know if you have had any experience of lung cancer screening.

The information you share will help us to see whether there are differences between countries in patients’ experiences of treatment and care. We will use this to campaign globally and nationally for changes that will benefit patients. So far, we have presented the data from the previous two surveys at the World Conference on Lung Cancer. We have also sent it to our members across the world to help them campaign on the issues that matter to you.

The survey should take you no more than 15 minutes to complete and your response will be anonymous. This means any information you share cannot be traced back to you. If you took part in any of our previous surveys, there may be questions that you have answered before. As we don’t hold any data about your responses, we need to ask these questions again. Your patience in answering these again is extremely appreciated; they are essential to help us identify the issues that relate to different groups of people, for example by gender or age.

If you are a carer, please fill out the survey thinking about the experience of the person for whom you provide care.

Some of the questions have a number of possible answers and we would appreciate you carefully reading all the possible responses first before selecting the one(s) which best fit your experience. Please note that in this survey, ‘treatment team’ means any health or care professional that has provided you with treatment or support.

Thank you for sharing your experience.
