Secondary School Exchange Application Form

Information for applicants

This form is to apply for the ESU Secondary School Exchange. Please make sure you read the Notes for Applicants carefully before you apply.
 
 
Please be aware that we can only accept applications from candidates who are British nationals. 

In applying for the Secondary School Exchange you will need to complete this form fully, and you will also need to upload your personal statement, a completed conditions of scholarship form and a completed medical form on this platform. We strongly advise you to have these completed documents ready to upload before you start to fill out this form. 

Please note that all uploaded forms will need to be in either .pdf, .doc or .docx format.

In addition to this form, a confidential reference must come from your school referee. A blank form can be downloaded here. This should be sent to education@esu.org, ideally by the referee or a school colleague directly. If you are sending it on their behalf, you must ensure that the document is signed by your referee. The reference must also include a transcript of your exam results.

If you wish to apply for financial assistance, then you should also send the financial assistance form to education@esu.org, along with any relevant financial evidence.
 
 

We must receive all applications, including reference, by 23:59 (UK time) on Friday, 2 December 2022. 

Interviews are scheduled for January 2022. They will take place at the ESU's headquarters, Dartmouth House.

Scholarships awarded will be for two or three academic terms (9 months) from September 2023.
