The contact details that you give us when booking will be used to send you information that will aid your participation in the event, such as registration instructions, directions and the preparation of badges.

Cancellation by the delegate

You have the right to cancel this purchase/contact within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day of the conclusion of the purchase/contract. To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us [National Association of Local Councils, 109 Great Russell Street, London, WC1B 3LD, Tel: 020 7637 1865, Email: nalc@nalc.gov.uk] of your decision to cancel this purchase/contract by a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or e-mail). To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired. If you cancel this contract/purchase, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you. We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract. You will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

If you submit a request for cancellation and reimbursement after the 14-day period, we reserve the right not to agree to this request and withhold part or all of the reimbursement monies you paid to us.

Cancellation of the event

Please be advised that NALC cannot be held responsible for any travel or accommodation costs incurred should a conference be postponed or cancelled.

Delegate lists

 To aid networking at our conferences and events, the names and job titles of delegates and the organisations they represent are included in a list of attendees made available. If the event is sponsored or has exhibitors, a list of organisations represented at the event will be available to sponsors. No personal information will be given to delegates, sponsors, exhibitors or any other third parties and delegate contact details remain strictly private. If you would prefer your name not to appear on the delegate list, please let us know in advance of your event taking place.

Photographs or video recording

Photographs, recording and audio recordings will be taken at NALC events and used in all NALC communications including via social media sites. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, delegates hereby grant NALC the right to take photographs of them and authorise the use and publication of the same in print and/or electronically.

Programme changes

It may be necessary for reasons beyond the control of NALC to change the content, timing, speakers or the venue for this conference.
