Information & guidance for session proposals

The National Suicide Prevention Alliance (NSPA) is planning to hold its annual conference on Thursday 28th January 2021, at the Kia Oval in London. We are now inviting proposals for workshop sessions for inclusion in the conference programme. The deadline for submissions is 28th August 2020.

Due to the ever changing situation regarding COVID-19, we are also making plans for the conference to be held partly or fully online, if necessary.

Conference details
The event will bring together private, public and voluntary organisations, professionals and practitioners working to prevent suicide and support those affected by suicide and individuals with lived experience of suicide. We usually have around 350 delegates in attendance, and workshop sessions may have as many as 60 delegates participating.

Workshop details
Sessions will last 45 minutes, and we would encourage you to leave plenty of time for questions and discussion - at least 15 minutes - and be interactive wherever possible.

As there are only a limited number of workshop slots available, we regret that it may not be possible to accommodate all proposals.

Please note that if your application to deliver a workshop is successful, you and any other presenters will be required to register and pay for your place as per all other delegates. Workshop presenters are offered a 10% discount on their place. NSPA members get 2 tickets at a 50% discount.

Your data will be processed by Survey Monkey, details of their privacy and security measures can be found at: www.surveymonkey.com/mp/policy/privacy-policy
Data from the survey will be used for internal NSPA purposes only. If you require a hard copy of the survey, please contact: info@nspa.org.uk
