1. Background information - Submission Deadline : Friday 15 January

Following the success of our farm walk programme this year, we are now planning our next series of farm walks for 2016. We are looking for host farms to take part across the UK. We are especially looking for farmers and growers with a special area of interest or innovation on their farm which will provide a focus for the walk. The aim of this programme is to share knowledge and expertise amongst farmers and growers.

Please note: These specific farm walks are aimed at farmers and growers rather than members of the public. However, we do hope to run some public events also.

Thanks to the Duchy Future Farming Programme, we can provide a financial contribution of £150 towards your time and for provision of refreshments (tea, coffee and biscuits). Farm walks normally run for 3 hours(approximately) as per below.

16.30pm : Arrival with refreshments
17.00pm: Host farmer/grower provides an overview of the holding
17.15pm - 19.15pm Farm walk
19:15pm: Departure
