GRR Women in Restructuring Survey 2023

Welcome to the GRR Women in Restructuring 2023 survey!

The purpose of this survey is two-fold: to collect data on women's experiences in the restructuring and insolvency sector, and to spotlight individual women who have broken ground in this often male-dominated field.

We would like to receive submissions from anyone who identifies as a woman, at all stages of their career in restructuring and insolvency – whether they are professionals on the legal side or non-legal advisory side of the industry, academics, judges, insolvency practitioners or work in-house at clients.

It’s been four years since our last survey in 2019 and in that time a global pandemic had a major impact on the way white-collar workplaces operate – at least for a time. We are running this latest survey with a mind on assessing what the post-covid workplace looks like for women professionals in restructuring and insolvency: have there been lasting changes to working practices, and if so, have these been positive for diversity and equality, or not?

As with previous years, the best and most illuminating responses to the questions below will be published in GRR.

This year, we are offering the option of anonymity for responses to questions 12, 13 and 14. These questions ask you to share anecdotal experiences of discrimination in the workplace based on gender and other aspects of your identity, and also ask what your workplace is doing to promote diversity. We hope that will make more women feel comfortable sharing their experiences.

The deadline for submitting entries is Friday 10 March 2023.

The three award winners will be celebrated at the next GRR Live: Women in Restructuring conference on Thursday 29 June.

We look forward to hearing from you!
