Strategic shift: The Trustees recommend that we modernise our systems and structures and upskill our staff to maximise the efficient and effective delivery of all aspects of our strategy.

Strategic shift: The Trustees recommend we launch bolder campaigns and increase our reach and influence to share the value society puts on wild places.

Strategic shift: The Trustees recommend we gather data on the extent of the threat and value of wild places; evidence for society to advocate the need to protect wild places across all parts of the UK.

Strategic shift: The Trustees recommend the wild places we manage demonstrate how best to tackle the climate crisis and biodiversity loss through a community partnership approach.

Strategic shift: The Trustees recommend we increase the number of people who discover, explore and conserve wild places through volunteering, the John Muir Award and by introducing new engagement activities.

Strategic shift: The Trustees recommend we actively seek to engage with people from all walks of life and help introduce them to the value of wild places so they in turn advocate for their protection.

Strategic shift: The Trustees recommend that we are bolder in how we share the stories of cultural land use through time and clearly articulate to a wide audience the increasing importance of wild places.

Strategic shift: The Trustees recommend we diversify our income and attract increased funding for multi-year projects.
