Welcome to the P4P Collaboration Toolkit. To make best use of this resource please first read and download the written guidance.

This survey will ask you to self-evaluate your progress against a range of factors that demonstrate best practice when it comes to developing a collaborative project. By determining your level of progress, this will allow you to focus on the areas where you are weaker and allow us to support you better through the process.

Every question requires an answer so where you are unsure, or if a question is not relevant to your particular situation, you should select the first option 'Not Started Yet'. It is also important that organisations complete the survey individually (not on behalf of other organisations within the collaboration) so that progress can be benchmarked across the members of the collaborative project.

The survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. In the first instance, it may be that your answers will show limited progress towards developing your collaborative project. Don't be put off by that! Collaborative working is not a short-term process and the idea is to work on it gradually, over time.

By using the written guidance and the support of P4P you will be able to address any weaknesses and work towards developing a strong, sustainable collaboration. At a later date, you will be able to complete the survey again to assess the distance travelled and identify any further support needs.

There is no single approach that will suit all organisations; by providing this resource we are offering a framework with which you can develop a robust collaborative project - it's up to you how you make use of it.

If you require support to complete the survey, please email info@p4p.org.uk and a member of staff will contact you.
