The information I receive really allows me to understand how well me child is doing. Good. The information I receive tells me about my child's learning. Could be improved. I would like to know more about my child's learning in school. Question Title * 3. If you take up the school's offer of a parent evening appointment, how would you rate the amount of time allocated? Excellent. The amount of time allocated allows me to hear all about my child's progress and ask the teacher about specific concerns I may have. Good. The time allocated allows me to hear about my child's progress but even more time would allow for improved quality of discussions. Could be improved. More time needs to be allocated so that a quality conversation can take place. Question Title * 4. Would you value an improved parent, child and teacher progress meeting? Yes. No. Question Title * 5. We intend to offer the following:A 15 minute meeting with your child and his/her teacher.Your child will present his/her best work from English, Maths and Topic books.Your child will talk about what he/she needs to do next in each subject area to make even better progress.The teacher will discuss attitude to learning, rates of progress and where your child should be by the end of the year.There will be time for parents to ask any specific questions.This will be timetabled throughout an allocated day, where parents are given suitable notice of date and time for the meeting. Appointments will run from 8.30am through 5.45pm.Children will attend school as usual.This will happen three times a year.Would you find this useful? Yes.
