In 2017, the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) and Public Health England (PHE) produced 11 impact pathways to help healthcare professionals measure the public health impact of the healthy conversations they have as part of their work. They covered a variety of topics, including smoking, mental wellbeing, alcohol and obesity, and were part of a report called 'Everyday Interactions'.

We would like to ask you a few questions to better understand how, or even if, the impact pathways are being used. The survey should take about 5 minutes.

We know that for many of you, your everyday practice already includes large parts of the pathways, but you may not be using the pathways. Please feel able to be honest in your responses - if you are not using the impact pathways we want to understand what we need to change in order to make them useful to you.

The impact pathways and the full report are available here and there is an example of one of the impact pathways below.
