Office Estate Tenant Consultation Survey
Caledonia is changing the way it works to a more flexible, agile working model. This will involve staff working a mixture of remote home working, mobile working in our communities and reduced time working from our offices. This will enable Caledonia to deliver quicker and more personalised services to customers.
As we move to agile working our offices will be under used. In addition in many cases they are not conveniently located for customers and pre-pandemic visitor numbers were low. There are many other means of contacting us for service via our Customer Solutions Team, our Neighbourhood Officers or via Connect or our Website.
In our recent tenant satisfaction survey, some 74% said that they preferred to contact us by phone, 24% preferred contact online and only 3% advised that they preferred contact face to face in an office.
It is our view that some of the offices currently used by Caledonia are no longer fit for purpose and the costs being incurred to maintain them cannot be justified. We think that alternative smaller more local arrangements could be made and the savings from this could be reinvested into improving services.
Caledonia is considering setting up alternative arrangements for the following offices:
Dundee Office – Broughty Ferry, Dundee
Replaced by a smaller admin centre with drop in facilities for residents & staff
Perth Office – 5 St John’s Place, Perth
When the lease expires in 2022 being replaced by a smaller admin centre with drop in facilities for residents & staff
Kirkintilloch – Town Centre, Kirkintilloch
When the lease expires in 2023 sourcing alternative local office working & resident drop in facilities
Bellsmyre – Estate Office, Bellsmyre
There are currently two office spaces at Bellsmyre. Explore using existing alternative office space to provide local staff working & resident drop in facilities
However the views of our customers are important to us and we would invite you to complete this short survey telling us what you think.
All respondents will be entered into a prize draw for a £50 Christmas shopping voucher. The survey will close on 14th December, 2021.
