Industry and the European Chemicals Agency (Echa) have developed tools for standardising the documentation on use and conditions of use information under the Exchange Network on Exposure Scenarios (Enes). Registrants preparing their chemical safety assessments under REACH need a realistic basis so the assessments reflect real life conditions of use; these tools, typically populated by downstream sector organisations, have been designed to help.

The purpose of this survey is to capture the views of European companies that may utilise these “use map” tools, in new and existing registrations, and as downstream users.

The results will be disclosed in the upcoming Enes10 meeting in Helsinki on 15-16 November 2016.
