We are excited to be hosting the 2020 European Youth Championships this summer at Lilleshall. The European Youth Championships is a prestigious event with archers from previous championships having gone on to win Olympic, World and European medals. We are going to need some enthusiastic volunteers to help out at the event and to make sure that the event runs smoothly. The event will be taking place at Lilleshall from the 15th August to the 23rd August 2020.

 Please select below the roles and the dates that you would like to volunteer for.

Some outlines of roles you can volunteer for are outlined below.

Sport Info/Athlete Services
  • Supporting athletes and teams
  • Running the athlete/team information desk
Field of play volunteers are responsible for:
  • Delivery of the field of play, Targets and Equipment
  • Support with the running of the competition
  • Car parking duties at the beginning of each day of competition
As Administration Support, you would:
  • Support the tournament organiser
  • Help with enquiries
  • Register archers
  • Assist the Results Team if required
Being a Results Team volunteer would see you be in involved with:
  • Creating Ianseo files
  • Create back numbers
  • Configure and distribute scoring tablets
  • Support with technical problems
  • Support the delivery of Results and PDA’s
  • Makeup scoreboards/distribute/collect throughout the shoot
