Aberdeen City Council has begun a six-month long public consultation in August 2023 as part of its Experimental Traffic Regulation Order (ETRO).

The main purpose of the ETRO is to establish a priority route for buses in Aberdeen city centre.
Bicycles, taxis and goods vehicles will also be able to access the bus priority route.

Aberdeen City Council has stated that the new road layout will enhance bus reliability and travel time, thereby encouraging people to use bus travel as a sustainable transport option.

The authority also believes that reduced traffic on the roads concerned will create an improved environment for pedestrians and cyclists, resulting in more sustainable or active travel. This is in line with the City Centre Masterplan. The ETRO is due to end on 23 January 2025.

We would like to hear from levy payers on the changes introduced with the ETRO. Please help us by completing the following short survey.

Please note that this survey is only to be completed by Aberdeen BID levy payers, and only one survey to be submitted per business premises.
