ESU Competitions 2022-23 Registration

Thank you for your interest in ESU Competitions - an invaluable opportunity for students to develop vital oracy skills for use both in the classroom and beyond! For key information about each competition, please check the competition handbooks:

Please note that our competitions are open to schools in England and Wales.

When you are ready to register, please complete all information below with as much accuracy as possible. After completing this form, you will be emailed a payment link by a member of the competitions team. When you have completed payment, you will be fully registered for ESU competitions. Please note that during busy periods the payment link may take a few days to arrive in your inbox.

The fees for all competitions are £45 per entry, or £25 per entry for state schools with more than 20% of students on Free School Meals and/or with English as an Additional Language.

For the Schools' Mace debating competition, you can only enter one team per school. For the ESU-Churchill Public Speaking competition, you may enter up to two teams (paying separately for each team). For the Performing Shakespeare competition, you may enter multiple performances (but will only pay once).
