We do not offer a local currency payment service

The pensioner chose to live overseas, so we pay GBP into a UK based GBP bank account and it is the pensioner’s obligation to arrange currency conversion and onward delivery

We have an ongoing commitment to all employees, current and retired, so we arrange the currency conversion and pay in local currency directly into the pensioner’s local bank account
