Hello,

Creating a Promise statement for the Trust presents a great opportunity to:

•reinforce our identity
•explain how we deliver our mission, vision and values
•reaffirm what we are proud of (such as quality improvement, people participation and clinical leadership).

The promise also allows our staff, patients, clinicians, governors and board members to come together and own the promise.

We've held an initial focus group made up of a range of staff who have come up with the proposed promise statement below:

We promise to work together creatively to:
•Learn 'what matters' to everyone
•Achieve a better quality of life.
•Continuously improve our services.

Before going further, we want to know your thoughts about the proposed promise statement. Do you agree with it? Can you identify with it?

Your opinion really does matter!

Your feedback in answering the questions below will assist us in finalising the promise statement for ELFT.

Thank you for your time and for being part of the creative process.

Best wishes,
Dr Paul Gilluley
