Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Monitoring Form |
Recruitment
England Hockey wants our sport to be reflective of society in England. As the organisation leading the sport, we seek to create a truly diverse and inclusive workforce representing all sections of society and background. We know that every new employee offers the organisation a different perspective which helps the sport to connect with more people in England and we get a better sport that works for everyone. That’s why we are working to make our organisation diverse and inclusive.
We welcome applications from all backgrounds and experiences. We would particularly encourage applications from disabled candidates, Black, South Asian, and other ethnically diverse candidates who are underrepresented in our current workforce.
We’re monitoring our recruitment practices and assessing how well our adverts and recruitment opportunities are reaching all sections of the community.
The questions are optional, anonymous and are stored as an aggregated group for each post. It will not be possible to identify an individual from the responses. Wherever possible the questions align with the Census 2021 to enable comparisons with the wider population. We ask a small number of additional questions as understanding social mobility and the social and economic background of a workforce is considered key in helping to form an accurate picture of how open and accessible an industry is.
