Welcome Page

The purpose of RItrain knowledge/staff exchanges is for managerial staff from European Research Infrastructures (RI) to develop managerial and leadership expertise in areas that are new to them, or that they feel their research infrastructure needs to develop specific expertise in, by making short knowledge-exchange visits to research infrastructures that are noted for their excellence in the same area.

ECRIN (European Clinical Research Infrastructure Network) is proposing a knowledge exchange focusing on project management within a distributed research infrastructure. This session will focus on the allocation of tasks in a distributed infrastructure providing coordinated, multinational project management, simultaneously involving the coordination team and multiple national nodes.
Using the management of multinational clinical trials as a model, we will discuss the challenges and solutions implemented by ECRIN, from the access procedure and the support to project preparation (including risk assessment) through the provision of services in multiple countries.
The exchange will involve experts working at the coordination or at national nodes, allowing cross look and discussion considering various angles, in a 2-day session organized in a rather informal way, with presentations followed by intensive discussions based on examples and on the expectations from participants.
Applications should include a list of topics of specific interest.

Full details can be found on the RItrain website: http://ritrain.eu/staff-exchanges

You will be asked to provide details of your research infrastructure, motivation statements and your CV.
The deadline for applications isĀ 28th February 2018.
