The Council have begun to work up a plan for the site, setting out options for investment in improvements to the open space and sports facilities including access routes and parking.
 
The final facility plan that the Council takes forward will need to be deliverable both in terms of its cost and sustainable for the long term as well as being sensitive to the status of the land as ‘Metropolitan Open Land‘.
 
The display boards show initial options the consultant team are working on in discussion with the leading organisations, clubs and groups that use Dukes Meadow.
 
The Council are inviting views on these initial options from all interested parties and members of the public.
