Introducing the principles and practice of managing a film and TV production

 
Course Content 
One of the most popular and successful courses run by NFTS, this course provides an introduction to the principles and practices of the work involved in film and television drama production management.

Participants will learn how to break down a short script which they will schedule, gaining a full understanding of all the elements which go into making up the budget.

The course covers:

Role, function and responsibilities of a drama production manager
Breaking down and scheduling a script
Union agreements
The principles of budgeting
Contracts
Insurance and completion bonds
Health & Safety
The unit on location, at home and overseas
Progress reports
Post-production

Fees
Freelance rate: £815
Corporate rate: £1500

Once you have been accepted on the course we will invoice you, by email, for the full amount of the fees. We must receive your payment 5 working days before the course at the latest. Your place on the course is not confirmed until we have received full payment from you, or you have received written confirmation that you have been awarded a bursary.
