Have your say on the draft SCI

Planning shapes the places where we live, work and play. For this reason everyone should have the opportunity to get involved in the planning process which, is where the statement of community involvement plays a vital role.

The draft Statement of Community Involvement (SCI), sets out how and when the council will involve the community and key stakeholders in preparing and reviewing our development planning documents. It also explains how the council will involve the community on submitted planning applications.

The draft SCI, reflects current planning legislation and evolving best practice.
