Derry City and Strabane District Council is preparing a Physical Activity, Wellbeing & Sport Strategy for the period 2022-2027. The strategy will demonstrate how the Council will deliver and enable others to deliver a range of physical activity, wellbeing and sport services, helping to achieve the objectives outlined in the district’s Inclusive Strategic Growth Plan 2017-2032, which has a vision of a ‘thriving, prosperous and sustainable City and District with equality of opportunity for all.’  The strategy will identify, nurture and develop opportunities for improving health and wellbeing and increasing participation in sport.

This survey, part of a wider consultation exercise, is for the education sector.  If your school, college or university delivers opportunities for physical activity, wellbeing or sport this survey is for you.  We are creating a picture of current activities and programmes to help in preparing the strategy so your help is greatly appreciated.
