Welcome to our Survey

Thank you for participating in our survey. Your feedback is important.

This survey will take approximately 5 minutes to complete and has 10 questions.
Grooming
Most of us are used to hearing the term 'grooming' with reference to children and paedophiles.

This is the behaviour used to 'befriend and build trust' with a child online for the purpose of obtaining sexual images, video and or meeting the child in person for further sexual abuse.

Unfortunately, the misconception is that grooming can only happen to children (up to age 16). The reality is that anyone can be groomed at any age for a range of motivations.

Grooming is the act of  an individual (groomer), or group of people (Grooming gangs) to deliberately build an emotional connection and trust with someone they’ve targeted with the purpose of exploitation for their own, unrevealed, motives.

This is often, but not always, sexual.

Grooming is often the vehicle for many abuses.

If you were groomed without the use of a 'catfish' (fake identity), please complete this survey STEP 2a (Adult Grooming) only.

If you were groomed by a 'Catfish' please complete this survey, STEP 2a (Adult Grooming) and STEP 2b (Catfishing)

If you were exploited for sexual images through grooming only (not a Catfish profile), please complete this survey STEP 2a (Adult Grooming) and STEP 2d (Sexploitation)
