This form is designed to allow people to submit their memories, stories, or experiences of their LGBTQ+ identity, or their experience of allyship. Once submitted, your story will be placed in our LGBTQ+ Salford map, displayed in our galleries.
Your experience can be anything at all - from a coming out to an excellent date, from the moment you stood up for someone to a simple message of support. Below are some examples taken from "Queering the Map".
"You came out as bi to me, and it occurred to me for the first time that being gay was maybe not just for other people, maybe it was for me, too."
"Missed my chance here, should have kissed her when I had the chance, spent the next 4 years regretting it and will for the rest of my life. Don't let fear control your life."
