Your African Artefacts need you!

AFFORD's 'Return of the Icons' programme would like to know what you really think about the return to African countries of stolen African artefacts and human remains from UK museums and cultural institutions.

Whose responsibility should it be to make this happen?

Your views matter as what you say will help improve advocacy campaigns for return of these stolen items.

British museums, libraries, and other cultural institutions hold unique collections of art, artefacts, and historical treasures from around the world as a result of Britain’s colonial past. Now, as UK foreign policy goals shift towards a vision of a Global Britain, how controversial issues around cultural patrimony and heritage are handled will increasingly come under the spotlight.

We want to hear your views so please could you give 10 minutes to complete our online survey by clicking the 'Begin Survey' button below.

Completing this survey should take approximately ten minutes, and any answers you give will be stored securely in line with GDPR regulations.

Answers to the survey will be anonymous but if you are interested in learning more about 'Return of the Icons' you can leave your contact details at the end of the survey.

You can find out more information about AFFORD's 'Return of the Icons' programme here: https://www.afford-uk.org/diaspora-communities-urged-to-have-their-say-through-our-return-of-the-icons-programme/
